The Jeans You Need Now

As the seasons come and go one thing always seems to stay: Boyfriend Jeans. Whether you are coming out of winter, or going into spring they are as versatile as your favourite make-up brush. A boyfriend jean is as it sounds – relaxed, slouchy, comfortable but stylish. It’s meant to be as if you picked a pair from his wardrobe, but I’m pretty sure 98% of men wear jeans tighter than us girls today (ouch).
Relaxed boyfriends, slim crop boyfriends, and relaxed crop boyfriends to the naked eye may seem a little odd, almost like you were naming all the kinds of boyfriends you have had… but don’t fear just remember to add ‘jean’ to the end of the word to avoid any confusion. Trust me, from personal experience it’s very awks trying to explain you’re talking about a jean, not numerous boyfriends (whoops)

The first thing you need when styling a boyfriend jean is: confidence. This is a very individual style so you need to show that you love what you’re wearing, and once you feel that inside, it will show on the outside. Okay, next you need to decide what colour, shape and features you want.
This season we’ve seen a lot of bleached
boyfriend jeans hit the shops that are hella ripped. Depending on your taste
you can get some with the rips repaired, meaning there is a patch sewn to
the back so no skin is exposed. Otherwise, the more skin the better gals! From
this, the style will transition to a more reserved range of darker denim with
little, to none distressing to suit the colder months. And as for those in between seasons
where it is both hot and cold, the lovely girlfriend jeans make an appearance
being neither relaxed nor skinny. This, all over slim style is the perfect
transition from one boyfriend season to the other. You can leave it un-cuffed, or cuffed. It's all up to you!
For all these styles either chunky cuff the leg just blow you mid calf or do a petite smaller roll to just sweep the ankle. Finish with a sneaker shoe, converse, or a stiletto heel.

Once you play around with a few different looks, and styles you will find your perfect match. Everything will just be right, and you will live happily ever after with the best boyfriend ever (until you find a new one and throw the other one away… oh right, I’m still talking about jeans btw).
