MBFWA Day 3: Fun and funky with a creative twist

Day 3 started off with a refreshing vibe which had me tapping my feet to the sound of the music. The models were all smiles at the Macgraw show, dressed in plaid and matched with dramatic sleeves, the entire room was on an energetic high.
Next Gen followed, showcasing all the up and coming designers. Their designs represented foundations of classic wear with their own edgy and creative twist. A highlight for me was a classic formal dress with pants in the back....what?
Roopa Pemmaraju was a collection of exotic tropical pieces, representing warm summer colours.
Hansen and Gretal were a huge highlight for me with the odd combination of leopard and gentle flower prints working perfectly in sync.

Activewear brought back the bum bag as a trendy accessory to add to your tights and crop top, layered with a gold jacket.
My final show for the night was Bec & Bridge which was off site. Travelling up seven levels of David Jones, guests were greeted with an Aperol spritzer while socialising in a congregated area before the show. As expected the show was incredible with blacks, greys, blues, reds and frills dominating the runway.
Until tomorrow :)
