Everyone Is Wearing THIS Slogan T-Shirt: Here's Why

Unless you've been undertaking an extreme social media detox these past few years (and if you are, may I recommend you switch back on for just a sec to have a squiz at Harry Style's interview with Timothee Chalamet for ID Magazine and the accompanying Insta posts?) you've probably noticed that all the cool kids are wearing a certain slogan t-shirt. Available in white or black, the wardrobe staple bears the phrase 'Give A Damn' and, evidently, a lot of people do.

So what's the deal? Allow me to explain.
The firm favourite hails from The Deep End Club, a community clubhouse and online store founded by drummer and activist Tennessee Thomas. Thomas, a founding member of 60s-inspired girl group The Like, created The Deep End Club as a way for 'artists and activists to work together to find creative solutions to the world's problems', according to the initiative's website. Thomas also calls Alexa Chung her best pal and the perennial style icon is often snapped wearing a shirt emblazoned with The Deep End Club's motto so it's no wonder it's status is flying high.
Though perfect with a pair of jeans, an on-trend skirt or even a co-ord, the real beauty of this t-shirt is that it encourages all those who bask in its glory to shrug away any traces of apathy and, well, give a damn about what's going on in our world.

And in exciting news for those eager to get their mitts on one, & Other Stories recently announced they've partnered with The Deep End Club to bring the 'Give A Damn' t - and a bunch of others - to a wider audience!

Thomas is a woman on a mission and we can all be inspired by her passion and commitment - not to mention her message to become engaged with what's going on in the world and actively look for ways to make a change. Here's to giving a damn!
