We are looking for an enthusiastic, sharp individual who is able to learn on the go and thrives in a fast paced environment! 
The internship requires a minimum of three months and three days per week.
Responsibilities include creating media lists, creative writing, managing and creating social media content, tracking publicity placements, sample delivery, tracking samples, developing and disseminating press materials, and more. And alas, a lot of busy works such as, managing messengers deliveries, organizing UPS deliveries, organizing press samples/hangers, and unpacking/packing sample shipments. 
It is imperative that you have substantial communication skills, speaking, writing and listening and easily following directions. You must also possess the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. An inclination and knowledge of pop culture, fashion, and entertainment is required. Distinguish and identify current trends in movies, television, hollywood and gossip. We are seeking for mature individuals serious about a career in public relations and looking for the right opportunity to get their foot firmly in the door. There‚Äôs opportunity for growth within the company for the right candidate. 
Our office hours are from Monday-Friday 9:00am-6:00pm for a minimum of 90 days - you must be able to start immediately. This position requires someone already settled in the New York area with established housing.

- Managing the press closet; sample trafficking via Fashion GPS 
- Assisting in the management of specified retainer clients, particularly with social media efforts 
- Assisting in the coordination of meetings with contacts from top stylists, magazines, etc. 
- Taking RSVP's for events 
- Compiling lists of editors, stylists, and other industry influencers 
- Press Clippings


- EXCELLENT writing/written communication skills 
- Deep understanding of and experience in various social media platforms, and how to best leverage each one 
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure 
- Willingness to be all-hands-on-board, complete runs or errands, stay a little late if necessary 
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT) 
- Enthusiasm and understanding of fashion industry, and a dedicated hard worker
