Little Bourke Street was transformed into an open air runway with a star studded crowd including distinguished guests from the city of Melbourne, celebrities and fashion bloggers. After a welcoming from Vogue Australia Editor in chief Edwina Mc Cann and Deputy Lord Mayor of Melbourne Arron Wood, the models took to the runway to present the latest in Australian designer collections.

Little Bourke Street was buzzing, with hundreds taking to the streets with their smartphones on hand to snap the latest in Spring Fashion straight from the runway. Bourke Street itself came to a close for Melbourne's tram network, as hundreds of retailers participated in Vogue's exclusive shopping night, including H&M, Myer, David Jones, Midas, Coach, Ted Baker London, Prada, Miu Miu, Viktoria & Woods, Sass & Bide, Rachel Gilbert, Alice Mc Call and Dion Lee.
Melbourne Emporium retailers held exclusive promotions and giveaways. Beauty stations, photo booths, champagne and whisky tastings were also to be enjoyed. To see the city of Melbourne celebrate all things Spring Fashion was a sight to behold and a free for all event to be enjoyed.
Melbourne Fashion Week runs from the 1st - 8th September
